Keyes selected for program

Melissa Keyes of Springfield has been selected from freshmen students in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to participate in the Dean’s Scholars in Experiential Leadership Program. This program is to bring students together within CASNR to further develop their leadership skills.

Bean in productions

Riley Bean, a 2009 Papillion-La Vista High School graduate and freshman at Northwest Missouri State College in Maryville, played the parts of Dawn and Mrs. Trotsky in the production of "An Evening of Ives" on Oct. 9 and 10. She will also be in the zombie chorus in "The Night of the Living Dead", based on the 1968 film, that will be performed on Oct. 29 through 31. Bean is the daughter of Todd and Laura Bean and sister of Brent Bean of La Vista.

Paul receives scholarship

Chelsea Paul of Papillion recently received the Lampert Family Scholarship worth $1,000 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Paul is a junior working toward a major in veterinary and biomedical science at the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR). She is a graduate of Papillion-La Vista South High School.

Campbell selected for program

Ben Campbell of Papillion has been selected from freshmen students in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to participate in the Dean’s Scholars in Experiential Leadership Program. This program is to bring students together within CASNR to further develop their leadership skills.
